Allora is taking part in the 5000 Poppies Project that is apart of a national project to commemorate Remembrance Day 2018 to mark the Centenary of the end of WWI.

Community members are encouraged to participate in the project by either crocheting, knitting or sewing poppies for the project. But if you cannot join in the crafting but would like to help out, then any donations of yarn (red, black, brown, green and yellow) would be greatly appreciated.

Our aim is to craft 1000 poppies for Allora, to signify the residences that make Allora home. We are also exchanging 100 poppies with Warwickshire in England, for their Warwick Poppies display.
